You may have heard that the ET source code will not be released for mod making.

That is unless your mod is the shrub mod. I think another mod team got the code also.

We on the Great Crusade mod team cannot get it. Whats up with that? Im getting discusted with the whole thing. Nill support and now this.

Hell, the community never did care much about custom maps or mods. Look what happened to the Wolf Team Fortress mod.

I, along with my mod team, am looking forward th HL2. Me thinks its time to move to greener pastures.

Bani, creator of Banimod (Nice names, huh?) also got it. You may want to ask whom he bugged to get it, or even ask Shrub. As for new games, chances are I'll be sticking around with the old ones for a while. Maybe once I spruce up my computer I'll think about the new games.

well Im not going to whine to splashdamage for the code. I just think it stinks that they said they wouldnt release it then others got it.

HL2 looks awesome and it will release with a full mapping/modding kit. My comp is ready to run it so I think I will move to that engine. Of course I will still hang around here, maby Eyeronik will add a HL2 section.

I dont think I will map for ET but if our mod moves to a new engine I will release the wolf maps I made.
