god the lag is horrible, its an awesome game, but its horrible, everyones laggin cept a few ppl and they own everyone, i get a 60 ping and its like a 300 ping i cant stand it
mmm quite good fun, I like the new classes:)

yes but its from wolfenstein 3d originally not doom i think,
mmmm......been having a nose in the pk3.
Scripting : lots of new comands, but the script structure is relitively simple, there is just a large amounts of it.
Shaders: Most of the ones Iv looked at are using lightmaps outside the bsp, which is a bit diffrent. They like using phong shading all over the place.:D The shaders are much simpler to write, which I think takes the fun out of it.
From a mapping view theres not much thats changed, just that scripting is now a very big job.:rolleyes: no worries:p

Does that tank have a scripted or triggerable texture change, or is the animation all set up before importing I wonder.

Well, if you're getting DSL, you should get another computer, a router, and some nice CAT-5 to connect it all. :P

It looks like they can toggle models on and off. From what Iv seen, and it was only a quick look, thet used two main models, a tank and a tank_broken, The rest of the bits look like amimation tags, not 100% sure as they use a new comand.

i see it more as a demo, final game will prolly only have a few differences. You can see why they havent gone publishing it though, it lacks that polished feel and is a little amatuerish in places (the italian style voices for axis, sounds like that guy from sopranos i forget his name, silver side bits on hair), it would look better with a decent hud mind and its very much a rtcw mod rather than anything else, i think if it was more polished they could of sold it as an add on at least, but prolly didnt wanna spend more cash on it.
oh you mean Pauly "Walnuts". In real life he actualy tried to get involved with the mob but got caught right away, he became an actor and now hes playing one lol.
In this case I gota download all 12 hours of it lol.
