I tried the sky shader with a fog variable.
I got fog not only on the deck of the ship which was great but also inside and the lower levels.
I thought the sky shaders can only affect the brushes that are visible to its surface??
Does sky shaders affect the whole lighting of the map , even areas that are hidden from their view?

Using the fog param sky will put the fog in the whole map.
This shouldnt be too much problem in the interior of a ship because you will probably be adding light entities, and not have many long views inside. As I said I thought it worked well for me.
