I hope their maps are great so as to show what the new code is capable of.

And maby get me to acually play for a while, lol.
I also hope radient is quickly updated to support it.

Lets hope they dont screw it up, this could bring more peeps to wolf, which is good for us all.

What I am wondering is, if it is the exact same game with some new goodies, wouldn't the Pk3 files work from wolf in et?

WHat I am asking is, if when the game comes out, wouldn't it be very easy to just copy the maps from rtcw into et's main folder?

Anyway, has anyone been playing Ut2k3?

I bought it but have not had a whole lot of time to play it yet.

I would expect that maps would need to be adjusted to work with ET.
I havent worked with bots, but I think that the map would need something like an aas file so they could navigate around. There are sure to be new entities necessary for bots to work right.

Also, who could resist adding the new entities like buildable stuff for the engineer. I think their are new game types too.

All in all it shouldnt be a big job to change an existing map over.

Well, as long as you don't use any new features from ET in an old map it should work fine.
